This project stems from a long investigation into the possibilities of x in terms of audio and video, considering different existing formats and performance of x in terms of quality and performance in different cases.

After several months of study and testing, born JAMedia.activity is a development based on working as a backend precompiled mplayer in slave mode with an interface built for Sugar pygkt controlling the player through the python subprocess module .

This activity occupies only 8Mb and is able to play any audio and video formats with a axcelente quality and performance.

achieved this first goal, I reimplemented to work with mplayer CeibalRadio so is the integrated online radio JAMedia.

achieved this second goal, I extended the implementation of streaming radio to play streaming video, so JAMedia is a television and radio station online and audio and video.
